Volvo Cars Made in India: Volvo Car India has produced ten thousand cars at its Bengaluru facility. The company started assembly operations in 2017. The XC90 was assembled and rolled out earlier. However, by far the most produced XC60 has been produced. More than 4000 units have been produced in it. The ten thousandth car made by the company in India is the “XC40 Recharge”, which is the company’s first pure electric offering.

Bengaluru “The ongoing addition of even more capabilities in the XC40 reflects our commitment to India’s vibrant self-powered segment. The honor of the ten thousandth car goes to our first pure electric offering – the ‘XC40 Recharge’.”
Volvo Car India has its production facility near Bengaluru. Volvo Cars started assembly here in 2017. The company today locally assembles all its models in India, such as the XC90, XC60, S90, XC40 Recharge and the recently launched C40 Recharge.
