Ranbir Kapoor is currently immersed in the preparations for ‘Ramayan‘. The shooting of the film had started quite some time ago. Meanwhile, pictures from the set had been leaked twice. Disturbed by this, director Nitesh Tiwari had implemented a strict no-phone policy on the set. Ranbir Kapoor, who is essaying the role of Lord Ram, is busy with the film’s shooting. While Nitesh Tiwari is directing the film, Yash, the rocking star, is also investing money in the project, doubling up as one of the film’s co-producers. ‘Ramayan’ is being prepared with a hefty budget of ₹835 crores for its first part. Amidst this, it has been revealed that the makers are contemplating changing the film’s title.
In the first part of ‘Ramayan’, only the story until the abduction of Sita will be depicted. The rest of the story will unfold in the next two parts. However, the leakage of pictures from the film set has left the makers quite distressed. Nevertheless, a new twist has emerged. It is being said that the makers might change the title of the film.
Why is the title being changed?
The preparations for the first part of ‘Ramayan’ are in full swing. Amidst this, it has been revealed by a News18 report that the tentative title for Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayan’ will be ‘God Power’. Additionally, stringent measures have been taken by the production team to prevent further leaks from the set. According to reports, curtains have been put up around the set from all sides. Moreover, strict surveillance is being maintained to avoid further leaks of looks. However, there has been no official confirmation from the makers regarding the title change yet.
It is not known whether the decision to change the film’s title is solely to prevent leaks or due to some other reason. However, a few days ago, news had surfaced that Madhu Mantena had issued a legal notice against the makers of ‘Ramayan’. Initially, Madhu Mantena was supposed to produce the film. However, due to creative differences, he withdrew from the project. Subsequently, it was reported that Allu Aravind’s production house had also decided to disassociate from the film. Now, the film is being produced by Namit Malhotra, while Yash is associated with it as a co-producer.
