New-gen Maruti Swift launch update: Last year we saw many products being launched in the car market. Now the new year has come. Many cars have been launched in the beginning of this year. Now Maruti is also preparing to launch a car. It is ready to launch the new generation Swift. The new model of hatchback may arrive by the month of April. It may see design changes, advanced features and mechanical upgrades.
According to media reports, its product may start from next month. The 2024 model Maruti Swift could be built on a modified version of the Heartect platform, with lightweight, high-stability ultra-high tensile steel.
Compared to the distributed version, the new Swift may adopt a refreshed design language. It may include a redesigned front grille, revised bumper, new LED headlamps, new alloy wheels and a new tailgate with an inverted C-shaped LED taillamp.
The C-pillar mounted door handles on existing models can be replaced with regular door handles. The length of the Swift could increase by 15 mm, making it 3860 mm long while the overall width and height could be reduced by 40 mm and 30 mm.
Its cabin may get a new Maruti Frontex-like layout, with a flat-bottom steering wheel, new dashboard design, dual-tone (black and beige) interior theme, toggle switch for climate control and a new 9-inch touchscreen. May include infotainment.
The 2024 model Maruti Swift is likely to be powered by a new Z-series 1.2L petrol engine, which may feature mild hybrid technology. This setup can provide 82bhp power and 108Nm torque.
Its Japan-spec version gets manual and CVT gearbox options while the Indian Swift may get manual and AMT transmission. The hatchback may have a new engine that could offer both better performance and mileage.
