Maruti Brezza Manual Mild-Hybrid: Last year, Maruti Suzuki discontinued the Brezza mild-hybrid version with a manual gearbox. This was due to the adoption of BS-6 Phase-2 duty standards which happened in April last year. Now the mild-hybrid version has returned again with a manual gearbox.
The mild-hybrid manual Brezza is offered only in the upper trims – ZXi and ZXi+, with prices ranging from Rs 11.15 lakh to Rs 12.48 lakh (both ex-showroom). The mild-hybrid manual Brezza has an average rate of 19.89 kmpl.
Meanwhile, the automatic variants that come with mild-hybrid technology have an average rate of 19.80 kmpl, while the CNG variants of the Brezza have an average rate of 25.51 kmpl. The Brezza is powered by a 1.5 liter K15C naturally aspirated petrol engine (with CNG kit option).
Its 1.5 liter K15C naturally aspirated petrol engine makes 102 Bhp and 134 Nm. It has the option of 5-speed manual gearbox and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. But, the CNG variant has only a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Maruti has offered a factory-installed CNG kit option only in the top-spec Brezza ZXI+ trim, which produces 87 Bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque on CNG.
Talking about features, the Brezza gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 4-speaker sound system, paddle shifters (AT variant), single-pane sunroof, ambient lighting, wireless phone charging, head-up There are facilities like display. And there are features like 360-degree camera.
As for safety, it includes features like six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-hold assist, seat belt reminder for all passengers, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors.
