“Google Chrome Introduces Locked History for Incognito Mode, Exclusive to Android Devices”

Google Chrome: A new feature has been introduced for Incognito Mode, which is a private mode. This feature is only available for Android phone and tablet users. In the Google Chrome browser, once this feature is turned on, the Incognito Mode will be locked as soon as you exit the app.

Google Chrome is the most widely used web browser in the world. Many people use Google Chrome on their mobile phones, making it the most popular web browser for mobile devices. But did you know that you can lock your browsing history in Chrome using fingerprint lock?

Firstly, let’s understand that the fingerprint lock feature for Google Chrome has been introduced for Incognito Mode, which is a private mode. This feature is only available for Android phone and tablet users. Once this feature is turned on in the Google Chrome browser, the Incognito Mode will be locked as soon as you exit the app.

To open the browser afterward, you will need to use the fingerprint sensor. This feature works just like the fingerprint lock feature in WhatsApp. It’s worth mentioning that the biometric lock feature for Incognito Mode was first introduced for iOS devices in 2021.

Google has provided information about this feature through its blog. In their blog, Google mentioned that users will need to use biometric lock to reopen the Incognito tab. As a result, now only the person whose phone it is can open the Incognito Mode.

You can enable this feature in the settings of Google Chrome. After going to settings, you will find the option “Lock incognito tabs” under Privacy and Security, which you will need to enable. Once this feature is turned on, you will need to use fingerprint, face ID, pattern, or PIN to unlock it.
