Bike-Scooter Launches: Several new scooters and bikes are set to launch in the Indian market in May. Models from Bajaj, Chetak, and Hero will enter the market with stunning looks.
This month kicks off with the launch of the new Pulsar. Bajaj has introduced the Pulsar NS400Z in the Indian market, priced at 1.85 lakh rupees. This bike features a 373 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Hero MotoCorp is also gearing up to debut scooters this month. The Hero Xoom 160 might launch in May, equipped with a 156 cc engine and automatic transmission. The price of this scooter could range between 1,10,000 to 1,20,000 rupees.
Additionally, the Hero Xoom 125 could also hit the Indian market this month. It might feature a 124 cc engine capable of delivering 9.5 bhp of power and 10.14 Nm of torque. The price of this scooter could range from 85,000 to 90,000 rupees.
The 2024 Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 is also expected to make its debut this month. The Swedish company launched the Svartpilen 401 in January this year and is now preparing to launch another new model in India.
Chetak is preparing to launch a battery-powered scooter in the market. The company previously launched the Urbane and Premium models in India. Details about this new Chetak model have not been revealed yet, but changes from the previous model’s powertrain can be expected in the new model.
